Great white shark recreates Jaws poster in incredible snap by Brit photographer

A British photographer captured the moment a great white shark perfectly recreated the iconic pose from the Jaws film poster.

The sharp-toothed killer was rocketing from the depths with her teeth showing with when Euan Rannachan, 32, took her portrait.

Brave snapper Euan was floating in a cage just feet away and was familiar with the predator after heading out on boat trips with "shark wranglers".

The 1975 movie poster featured a great white racing up from the depths towards an unsuspecting female swimmer.

British-born Euan said the doppelganger photo was one he’d never quite been able to get before.

He said: “The shark in the Jaws image is a female.

“Her name is Squirrel, and we’d been with her for a while.

“We have these people on the boat called shark wranglers and they throw these two-foot chunks of tuna and get the shark close to the surface.”
