'Great to see Elland Road rocking again' - Leeds United fans react to entertaining Everton draw

Leeds United got their first point of the season as they drew 2-2 with Everton in front of a sold-out Elland Road.

The Whites were forced to come from behind twice in the match to get off the mark in their Premier League homecoming.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring for the visitors from the penalty spot before Mateusz Klich levelled the score with five minutes left of the first half.

Demarai Gray netted his first goal for the Toffees to put them back in front after the interval but a thunderbolt from Raphinha meant that the points would be shared.

There were a couple of penalty shouts for the hosts in stoppage time but they were rightly waved away as more than 36,000 fans returned to Elland Road.

Kalvin Phillips made a welcome return to the starting XI following his exploits with the England squad at Euro 2020 while Junior Firpo made his full Premier League debut.

The match certainly lived up to its billing with goals, cards and controversy throughout, here is what the Leeds faithful have had to say on social media.
