Taking place over a 13.1 mile route between Newcastle, through Gateshead and back, the Great North Run is the biggest - and, we think, the best - half-marathon in the world.
The Great North Run route is back to its normal course for 2022 and fun-runners taking part in the Great North Run can check their times online as long as their race chip crosses the finish line, with results available from shortly after the first runners finish.
You can search for Great North Run finish times using our widget below from the point that the results are available online, which is usually soon after the first runners finish, using the runner's bib number.

Simply select which race you're interested - as the Junior and Mini and 5K runs were postponed this year following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, it will be the option of the Great North Run half-marathon.
This can also be done using the Great Run Company's search tool which is now live with the 2022 results. Click here to access it.
You don't need to know an individual's race number as the Great Run's tool can be used by simply searching by surname.
The tool shows each competitor's name, bib number, running club where applicable, position in the race and finish time.
The website features an archive for all the Great North Run events, including previous Junior, Mini, 5k and 10k races.
The latest Great North Run event updates and photos are available via our dedicated Great North Run homepage.
