'Great move!' - Some Arsenal fans react as Danny Welbeck completes free transfer

Danny Welbeck is back in the Premier League after signing for Watford, following his release from Arsenal.

The 28-year-old has joined the Hornets on a free transfer, having left Arsenal this summer after five years at the club, during which time he scored 16 times in 88 Premier League appearances.

Welbeck, who has 42 England caps to his name, only featured 14 times for Arsenal last season, owing to injury problems and the competition for a place up front in Unai Emery's team.

But the forward, who joined Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014, will now hope to make his mark at Vicarage Road, having signed a three-year deal with the Hornets.

Watford were linked with Welbeck last season, but a move failed to materialise.

However, it has now, with Watford moving to sign the England international on a free transfer, following his release from Arsenal earlier this summer.

And Arsenal fans have been wishing Welbeck well following confirmation of the move, with some describing him as a "great signing" for the Hornets.

Here's what some Arsenal fans have been saying about the transfer on social networking website, Twitter.
