The Great Manchester Run is almost upon us and though the weather is shifting after a gloriously sunny few days, nothing will dampen the spirits of those taking part as they come from far and wide.
Known for being Europe's biggest 10km race, tens of thousands of runners are set to descend on the city ready to take on the course, which also includes the half marathon, junior and mini run.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 19, with 30,000 competitors expected to take part and not forgetting the hundreds, maybe even thousands more offering their support to those taking on the challenge.
And did you know there's going to be a Haçienda rave zone at the event this year? We can't think of a better way to get you hyped for a run.
