Great-grandfather in tears over walking sister, 82, down the aisle after 77 years apart

A great-grandfather was in tears on This Morning today as he spoke about walking his long lost sister, 82, down the aisle after 77 years apart.

Pauline Levefre (nee Wood) was was adopted as a baby and grew up on the Isle of Wight as an only child.

While she was growing up she yearned to have a sibling to share her life with and in 1965, at the age of 28, discovered that her birth parents went on to have a son together.

She said: "It was a tremendous shock, all those years of loneliness, then to find I could have had a brother of my own."

Pauline searched for her brother over the next 40 years but had no luck and decided to get help from ITV's Long Lost Family.
