Great British Bake Off viewers spot 11 year-old problem and nobody is happy

The Great British Bake Off returned to our screens on Tuesday (September 21) and people were thrilled.

What people were not so thrilled about however is something that appears within the first minute of the show - and its been a problem for 11 years.

The popular Channel 4 series is known for its signature chocolate cake which appears in its title and topped off with raspberries.

But that's exactly where the problem lies. The issue? There is clearly room on that cake for one more raspberry.

One viewer tweeted: "11 YEARS ON, RASPBERRY-GATE CONTINUES. Fumin."

Another said: "They still haven’t added an extra raspberry."

Another agreed saying: "The raspberry is too frustrating. Somebody fix it."

A fourth added: "And there it is - the cake with the missing raspberry that annoys me every season."

Whilst a fifth added: "Why do you not put a raspberry at the bottom right of the cake on the title screen? Please for the love of God, stop the chaos."

Have you ever spotted it?

The Great British Bake Off continues at 8pm on Tuesdays on Channel 4.
