A special festive gin featuring a shortbread recipe by none other than Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby Bhogal has been unveiled by the Edinburgh-based Old Curiosity distillery.
The distillery is an offshoot of the Secret Herb Garden - a specialist herb nursery in the south of the city - and most of the gin's ingredients are sourced from the garden itself.
The aromatic, special edition Christmas gin is flavoured with ginger, cinnamon and cardamom, and what's more: it's also colour changing.
When you add tonic, it turns a vibrant pink colour. OK, so pink isn't a particularly Christmassy colour, but it's certainly a lot of fun.
Each bottle also features Ruby's Gin Spiced Shortbread recipe, which was specially produced for the Old Curiosity Distillery. It sounds like the ideal Christmas snack to us.
You can buy the Christmas gin in a range of retailers throughout the country, including Harvey Nichols, Fenwicks and Dobbies Garden Centre, and via The Old Curiosity Distillery website.
