The family of Scottish Bake Off contestant Peter Sawkins have revealed he’s been a Star Baker from an early age.
Student Peter, 20, is the youngest contestant on the new series of The Great British Bake Off.
Now his older brother Andrew has posted a family photo showing off his brother’s kitchen skills aged around five.
The picture shows Peter, from Edinburgh, proudly showing off a plate of strawberry tarts he has made.
Andrew, who is also in the photo with a tea towel draped over his arm, couldn’t be prouder of his brother.
Andrew, a student at Imperial College in London, posted on Instagram: “This might be the most exciting thing I’ve ever been able to post.
“My incredibly talented brohiem @peterbakes is going to be on The Great British Bake Off.
“He is an absolute legend so please show him some love and support. It’s going to be so cool.”
Peter, who is studying finance at Edinburgh
University, replied saying the picture showed a “strong kitchen team”.
He will compete with 11 other hopefuls on the show.
