Great British Bake Off's Paul Hollywood in tears at Prue Leith's 'filthy' remark

Paul Hollywood was stunned by a comment Prue Leith made on tonight's Great British Bake Off.

The latest edition of the popular Channel 4 programme saw the return of pastry week.

The bakers were tasked with creating choux pastry doughnuts during one of the challenges in week 6.

However, Prue left her fellow judge speechless while she was analysing George's creation during the latest episode.

The 81-year-old said: "Quite often I need two holes so that I can squirt.

"You squeeze the bag. When you meet that little bit of resistance, it usually means it’s full."

The Great British Bake Off has become notorious for its innuendos - and Paul Hollywood was speechless as he struggled to contain his laughter at Prue's remark.

The chef from Wallasey was seen wiping away tears of laughter while host Matt Lucas also tried to compose himself.

Prue questioned what was so funny and Matt replied: "We're just children."

Paul added: "Sorry Dame Prue."

Fans of the show on Twitter erupted in hysterics at the hilarious exchange.

Hannah said: "I can’t cope with all the innuendo tonight."

Dave added: "Well this has been one FILTHY episode of #GBBO. (I am here for it, obvs)

Carol commented: "Top quality innuendo from Prue."

Zac tweeted: "The Great British Innuendo Off had me splitting my sides all episode."

Great British Bake Off airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4
