Chigs Parmer has revealed the reason for the bandage on his finger in last week's challenge.
The Great British Bake Off star, 40, appeared on the show with a bandage causing some fans to wonder what had happened, as MyLondon reports.
Responding to a fan in the comments, Chigs explained the story.

The Great British Bake Off viewer wrote: "Noticed your finger was bandaged up in the last challenge. Hope you're ok."
To which Chigs replied: "In week three I sliced a chunk off my finger. My finger was not looking its best. It's still not back to normal."
The baker also shared a snap of himself and fellow Bake Off participants Amanda and Rochica showing there is lots of love backstage despite all competing in the same contest.

Captioning the photo, he said: "Spending time with my baking family is always great. Today @amanda_foreverbaking, @rochica_ and myself got to meet so many amazing people, who like us, also love baking.

Loving baking unity, one fan said: "So nice to see you guys together."
A second wrote: "Great picture. Good to see you all together, you look so happy."
"Awesome. Love this pic and been loving watching everyone's journey on GBBO," said another.
A fourth user commented: "Love this baker love!"
It comes as Chigs won Star Baker last night (Tuesday, November 9) impressing the judges with a gluten free red velvet showstopper for 'free from' week.
Unfortunately it was the end of the road for Lizzie, though, who failed to wow the judges with her ice-cream sandwiches.
The Great British Bake Off semi-final airs next Tuesday at 9pm on Channel 4.
