Great British Bake Off contestant Michael was left in tears on the show on Tuesday, as his third bake of the day hit a blip.
As he took on biscuit week, he pulled out all the stops to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
But as he attempted to put his showstopper together, he made a big mistake with just minutes to go before the presentation.
He was adding panels made out of biscuit to the base of his creation, and he quickly realised he was putting them on the wrong way round.
Instead, he placed the shorter panels on the wrong sides, and the longer panels likewise.
He said: "I've put them on the wrong sides. Damn."
Michael was then trying to sort the issue, but got flustered as it dawned on him that he needed to start again.
Suddenly, he started crying and as he took a deep breath he said he wasn't sure he could continue.
Sticking the panels together he felt his bake was "messy", and it's then that Michael welled up.
His fellow Priya contestant raced over to support him, before telling him not to cry as it made her sad too.
Viewers raced to Twitter over the scenes, admitting they too were emotional over the scenes.
One fan said: "I can't handle Michael crying."
Another tweeted: "If Michael cries, I'll cry," as a third said: "I love Michael and him crying just breaks my heart."
