Australian-born Super League stars Jackson Hastings, Lachlan Coote and Blake Austin could all be considered for this year’s returning Great Britain tour.
St Helens full-back Coote is a Scotland international while half-backs Austin and Hastings both qualify through heritage rules.
Coote and Hastings have already indicated their availability, and the the trio have been among the stand-out performers so far this season, with Warrington’s Austin topping the Steve Prescott Man of Steel rankings.
RFL rugby director Sinfield confirmed that coach Wayne Bennett will consider anyone who both qualifies and has made it clear they wish to be involved.
Sinfield said: “If they come forward and say they want to do their British heritage proud, we’ll consider them just like we will anyone born in Britain.
“Our sport looks upon it differently to other sports.

Super League must have “eyes wide open” on possibility of Trans-Atlantic clubs
“Look at cricket, rugby union and football - people qualify for different countries now for a number of different reasons.
“I was fortunate to play alongside guys like Chris Heighington, Rangi Chase and Maurie Fa’asavalu who have all put their hand up and represented the shirt despite not being born here.
“If you're qualified you'll be seriously considered, if you're on top of your game, you've a huge chance.
“We’re drawing up a list of players around the world but won’t be knocking down anyone's door.
“They’ve got to come to us, and we won’t devalue the Great Britain badge or brand.”

The RFL has confirmed that Bennett will also take charge of the England side that plays in the World Cup Nines in Sydney this autumn ahead of the Lions tour of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
The veteran Australian boss has still to finalise his backroom staff for Great Britain following James Lowes’ recent return to rugby union.
Sinfield added: “We did consider someone else coaching the Nines with Wayne overseeing but he wanted to do it.
“For the Lions we’ll take the best possible person as assistant.
“It’s got to be the best person for the job - nationality won’t be taken into account if it’s an Australian or a New Zealander who fits the bill and gives us what we need.”
St Helens’ Craig Richards will coach the England Women team at their World Cup Nines the same weekend, October 18 and 19.
