Grealish and De Bruyne start - Man City fans pick starting lineup against Southampton

Man City fans want to see an attacking line-up once again when they take on Southampton this afternoon in the Premier League.

City have won their last three home games in a row beating Norwich and Arsenal 5-0 before a 6-3 Champions League win over RB Leipzig in midweek saw their striker search in the summer become an after-thought.

As they look to extend their excellent run of form in recent weeks, the fans have voted on the MEN Sport survey about the starting line-up they want to see for the game and they've opted for an attacking side once again in the hope they can run through the opposition.

Ederson - City's first-choice goalkeeper is an automatic pick to start the game whenever he's fit for a Premier League fixture.

Kyle Walker - The England man was rested in midweek against Leipzig and will likely come back into the side for this game with his pace key against defending the counter attack.

Ruben Dias - City's new third-choice captain, the Portuguese defender is the leader of the defence and the first name picked when Guardiola and fans make their decisions.

Nathan Ake - Aymeric Laporte and John Stones are out with injuries, so Nathan Ake has the chance to build on his first Champions League goal in midweek.

Joao Cancelo - Cancelo got himself on the scoresheet in a brilliant performance from right-back, but his attacking attributes are likely to see him picked on the left ahead of Zinchenko for this game with City expected to have most of the ball.

Rodri - The former Atletico Madrid man has been in good form so far this season and has cemented himself as the first-choice holding midfielder for the fans, ahead of club captain Fernandinho.

Ilkay Gundogan - Gundogan was rested in midweek against Leipzig but his movement, ball retention and ability to chip in with a goal mean he should return to the side for this game.

Kevin De Bruyne - The main man, De Bruyne was in sensational form on his return to the side against Leipzig and should continue in the team here now that he's fit again.

Gabriel Jesus - Jesus has been a revelation out wide this season and he came off the bench to score in midweek, which is likely to have earned him his position in the team ahead of Riyad Mahrez once again.

Ferran Torres - Torres has seemingly made the centre-forward role his own so far this season with a string of good performances, and fans are keen to see him continue that against the Saints.

Jack Grealish - City's record signing has settled in seamlessly and is only improving with each performance, so the fans want to see just how good he can be by playing him once again.
