Police hold grave concerns for the safety of a 13-year-old girl missing from Goodna, west of Brisbane, since Thursday night.
She left a Goodna home about 10:00pm on Thursday and was seen at the intersection of Stanley and Albert streets.
CCTV cameras near Goodna train station filmed her later that night at 11:45pm.
Senior Sergeant Paul Andrews said police were concerned for her safety because of her age and the length of time she had been missing.
"She is a young girl — 13 years of age," he said.
"We seek anyone's assistance to help identify this girl or help locate her whereabouts."
He said the girl hadn't made any contact with family, who were concerned and "very upset" as it was "out of character" for her.
Officers have been doorknocking properties in the area as part of their investigation.
People living in the area have been asked to check their properties, yards and sheds for any sign of her.
The teenager was wearing a blue jersey with white writing on it, a light blue t-shirt and dark blue school shorts when she was last seen.
She is 160cm tall with an olive complexion, dark-brown hair and brown eyes.
