Grateful Crumlin dad desperate to trace honest stranger who found his cash-filled wallet and posted it through his letterbox

A grateful young Dublin dad is looking to repay an act of kindness after a stranger found his missing wallet full of cash, tracked down where he lived and then posted it through his letterbox.

Relieved Dwayne Freeman shared a CCTV video in the hope of tracing the big-hearted young mystery woman, whose honesty the dad of one (and soon to be two) wants to reward.

The Crumlin man's footage captures the magical moment the mystery good Samaritan, having tracked down his house, returns his wallet with cash, cards and other contents still inside.

And Dwayne told Dublin Live it was great to get it all back with all the money - especially with his wife expected their second little boy imminently.

Launching his hunt to find the kind stranger, he posted: "Anyone know this woman?

"I lost my wallet today down at Old County in Crumlin and she had the decency to drop it back with everything still in it - including the cash.

“I’d really like to repay this woman with chocs and flowers - if someone knows her could they please mail me her name or telephone number?"

Dwayne told Dublin Live this evening that the young woman's act of kindness proved there are “still good people in the world".

He assumes that the quick-thinking young woman, who wore glasses, a grey top and glasses, went through his wallet and found his driving licence to track down where he lives.

The excited dad stressed how anxious he is to be able to thank her, adding: "It's just heartwarming to know that there are still great people out there.

"So I'd really like to be able to thank her."

The post, which Dwayne put on a local Facebook group, has already been shared more than 200 times, but unfortunately, it has yet to uncover the mystery woman.
