Graphix serves up tasty new look for Cadbury World

Design, print and signage specialist Graphix has helped Britain’s favourite chocolate brand to revamp and enhance their Cadbury World visitor attraction for 2020.

Stoke-on-Trent-based Graphix worked with the design team at the Cadbury’s Bournville site, in Birmingham, to transform the entrance areas to the attraction which welcomes in excess of 600,000 visitors a year.

Graphix replaced bland white walls with durable wall coverings in the chocolate company’s distinctive ‘Cadbury purple’ colour – completed with messages such as 'make chocolatey memories' and 'strike a pose.'

Steve Ward, managing director at Graphix said: "It was fantastic to be chosen to work with the team at Cadbury again. We were asked to enhance the visitor experience, starting with the internal walls at Cadbury World, creating a lasting first impression as people enter Cadbury World."

"The walls were pretty bland and it was clear they needed some colour and points of interest focussed on the corporate branding.

"Working with Cadbury’s designers, we decided to wrap the walls in Cadbury Purple and add points of interest, such as wall graphics surrounding a green screen area with various electronic backdrops on the photos.

"Visitors are encouraged to use the green screen, props and story boards telling the history of Cadbury. They can then purchase their photo memories for keepsakes to take home."

Cadbury is among a series of recent contract successes for Graphix.

The year started with Graphix completing the design, construction and installation of an exhibition stand for Motul Oil at the Autosport International show, held at the NEC, Birmingham.

The company also worked with Parkwood Leisure to design and construct new signage for Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre, South Moorlands Leisure Centre and Brough Park Leisure Centre in Staffordshire.

The work with Parkwood continues as there are around 30 centres across the UK to rebrand over the coming months.
