Granit Xhaka stuns Arsenal fans with rarely seen moment in Switzerland thriller

There was quite a game at Basel's St Jakob-Park on Tuesday night.

Switzerland took on Denmark in their Euro 2020 qualifier, and it turned into a remarkable night.

Incredibly, the Swiss led 3-0 with just six minutes of the match remaining, only for Denmark to score three times in those six minutes and earn a 3-3 draw.

It was an epic comeback from the Danes, who will take great heart from what was their first qualifier on the road to the finals.

But for the Arsenal fans watching the game, the really incredible moment from the match came some 25 minutes or so before the late equaliser.

Arsenal's Nicolo Barella transfer bid could be doomed before window even reopens

Gunners supporters are used to seeing midfielder Granit Xhaka thunder in efforts from distance for their team, but when he fired past Kasper Schmeichel from range in the 66th minute to make it 2-0, there was something a bit odd about the goal.

It was scored with his RIGHT foot.

Xhaka routinely bangs them in from range with his left, and the Gunners fans watching on couldn't believe what they were seeing.

Xhaka was later substituted shortly after Breel Embolo had made it 3-0, before the Danes' heroic comeback.

Mathias Jorgensen, Christian Gytkjaer and Henrik Dalsgaard all scored - the latter three minutes into injury-time - to leave the home fans stunned.
