Grangemouth residents asked on life living near petrochemical plant

Grangemouth residents are being asked on how life is living in a town a short distance from a large petrochemical plant.

Friends of the Earth Falkirk are surveying locals about how the plant impacts their daily lives.

The survey has been launched in a bid to improve the area for future generations.

A Friends of the Earth Falkirk spokesperson said: "Living within the Glow 2021. Friends of the Earth Falkirk are collecting views about living within the glow of the oil industry in Grangemouth.

"We are asking a question about current concerns and future hopes and we are looking for a diversity of views to represent the local community in Grangemouth, across the Falkirk area and beyond.

"We did something similar in 2005."

They're asking questions like, "What concerns do you have about living within the glow of Ineso?" and "What would you like the future of Grangemouth to look like beyond the oil industry?"
