A Grangemouth primary school was evacuated earlier after a fire alarm was activated.
Firefighters rushed to Moray Primary School, on Moray Place, shortly after 9am.
The building was swiftly emptied by staff inside and pupils were spotted rounded up in the playing area.
Two fire engines were sent to investigate the incident.
No injuries were reported and crews found it to be a false alarm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene.
"After a quick check of the building - it's was found to be a false alarm."
"Crews have now left."
