Grangemouth pet shop looking for donations to help animals and pets in Ukraine

A Grangemouth pet shop is looking for donations to help animals and pets in Ukraine, as the shelling continues.

Coco's Pet Pantry, based in the town centre, is asking people to hand in things like puppy pads, food, towels and bowls.

It comes after they managed to secure space on a ship which is going to help with the crisis.

The donations are also going to be sent to Cyprus and Romania.

In a post on Facebook, the shop said: "Laura has managed to secure space on a shipment going to help the animals/pets in the Ukraine.

"They are desperate for puppy pads, foods, towels bowls blankets etc and anything else you have lying around.

"We already have some donations but are able to accept more, as they will also be sent to Cyprus and Romania on another shipment that's also secured.

"We will be able to take any donations until Saturday as they are going away on Monday and this will allow us to pack and transport."
