Grangemouth Duck Race returns to Grange Burn and promises to be a quacking day

The annual Duck Race in the Grangemouth is returning this month after being cancelled last year due to coronavirus and lockdown.

Locals will gather in Zetland Park on Saturday morning for the event before heading down to the Grange Burn.

Organisers say it'll kick off at 11am and cost £2 per duck, or 3 for £5.

A total of 600 ducks will be let loose in the water.

The winner will receive £30 with £20 going to whoever comes second and £10 for third place.

All money raised will be used for the regeneration of the Zetland Park Rose Garden.

Anyone interested in taking part should contact Zetland Park Regeneration Project on Facebook.
