She wrote: "We cannot thank everyone enough for all the help, shares and searching you have all given.

"We are more grateful and over the moon and as you can imagine extremely happy.

"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and please remember that mental health is a serious thing, so if at any point you see someone struggling please help."

Janice had last been seen on Tuesday. On Friday, search teams were asked to help police search the hazardous terrain around Bream in the pouring rain. The area has a vast underground cave system which goes underneath the village and surrounding woodlands.

Teams from SARA were joined by searchers from Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group, Midlands Cave Rescue Organisation and South Wales Search and Rescue Dog Association on Saturday.

The Bream rugby club, where she was found, is close to her home. Emergency services and rescuers have not confirmed if Janice had been outside since she went missing.

A SARA spokesperson said: "We were all delighted that she has been found alive.

"We had feared the worst as she had been missing for several days which includes some awful weather . It was a great result for the whole team, and really shows that all the training we do is worthwhile."
