The iconic Grand National Festival is in full swing today, with people arriving at Aintree racecourse kitted out in style for Ladies Day.
After the cold and erratic weather of yesterday's event, the sun has come out for Ladies Day 2022. This year's event marks the first time people have been able to attend in person since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, with many glamorous ticket holders seemingly keen to make up for lost time.
Planning an outfit for the Grand National Festival usually takes months of planning and shopping, with ticket holders eager to celebrate the momentous occasion in their glad-rags. Ladies Day also sees the return of the coveted Style Award, which sees the best dressed bagging a lucrative prize of £5,000 in cash, a £500 Never Fully Dressed/£300 House of Cavani voucher, a spa break and more.

Yesterday saw people dressed in stylish suits, vibrant prints, show-stopping hats and more. Ladies Day today looks set to be no different, with people showing exactly why Liverpool's fashion scene is so legendary.

The Randox Grand National 2022 will take place from Thursday, April 7 to Saturday, April 9. It is held at Aintree racecourse.
