Henry de Bromhead is targeting a repeat Grand National win with history-maker Minella Times.
Rachael Blackmore became the first female jockey to win it in 2021 – and the pair will race for the rare double on April 9.
Minella Times, owned by JP McManus, has been given 11st 4lb as the weights were revealed on Tuesday afternoon.
It is identical to what dual winner Tiger Roll has been allotted, the chaser who could emulate Red Rum as an Aintree hat-trick hero.
Henry de Bromhead has sent Minella Times, up 15lb from his rating 12 months ago, to the racecourse twice since his success made headlines last spring.
The nine-year-old is one of 52 entries from Irish stables – half of the total of 104.
He said: "He loves it around Aintree and certainly did last year, so hopefully he’ll come back to form now. He’s been a little bit off form recently but he looks like he’s coming back to form and hopefully he will by April.
“They certainly have to enjoy it to do well around Aintree and hopefully going back will help him find his form.”
Tiger Roll, triumphant in 2018 and 2019, is being geared towards a sixth Cheltenham Festival victory next month.
Connections will then decide on whether he will head to the famous Liverpool venue.
“Tiger Roll is in very good form at home. We have been training him for Cheltenham all season and we are really looking forward to going back there. We will see how Cheltenham goes but he has got a nice weight so the Grand National could be on the agenda."
With Tiger Roll 33-1 in the betting, Elliott has a number of other horses prominent in the ante-post market.
Gold Cup hope Galvin, Run Wild Fred (11st 1lb), Farclas (10st 9lb), Escaria Ten (10st 9lb) and Mount Ida (10st 13lb) are all shorter prices than the veteran chaser at this stage.
Run Wild Fred is one of the favourites for the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham 2022 and Elliott said he "ticks a lot of boxes."
"He is a big staying chaser and I think he could easily be a Grand National horse. He has that touch of class about him as well," he added.
The Charlie Longsdon-trained Snow Leopardess (10st 3lb), already a winner around the iconic Grand National course, leads the home team.
No mare has won the race Nickel Coin in 1951 but the trainer said the Becher Chase winner is an ideal candidate.
“There is no doubt she loved those fences," he said.
"The bigger the jump she thrives on. She was just idling in the Becher so the trip will be no issue.”
The Grand National, which has a maximum of 40 runners, has a total prize fund of £1 million.

The race will be run at 5.15pm on Saturday, April 9. It is the feature race of a three-day meeting at Aintree Racecourse, which begins on Thursday, April 7.
