Grand National 2020 tickets on general sale now

Tickets for the Grand National in 2020 are now on sale for priority members.

People who signed up for priority access to the three-day racing event at Aintree Racecourse can buy tickets from 10am on Monday 22 July and have 48 hours to buy them before general sale.

Tickets can be bought via links sent out by the racecourse and include grandstand seats and roof terraces at the famous course.

Customers can buy up to eight ticket per day during the priority sale.

General sale tickets to the Grand National go on sale on Wednesday 24 July at 11am for races on Thursday, Friday's Ladies Day and the Grand National day itself on the Saturday of the event.

The cheapest ticket prices in 2019 were for the Festival Zone of the course, which gives access to bars, live music and the parade ring. They cost around £30 for the Thursday and £46 for Ladies Day.

The Grand National will take place on 4 April in 2020.

In 2019 the biggest horse race in the world was won by Tiger Roll for a second year in a row. Forty runners started the four mile race over 30 fences in the race, which is the main event of three days of racing.

As well as racing, fans are also treated to live music performances at the course, as well as a lavish opening ceremony and the annual best-dressed competition.

Fans from all over the world descend on Aintree for the showpiece event and tickets for the Grand National Saturday often sell out quickly.
