Time is running out for a gran who must find a new roof over her head before New Year's Eve or face becoming homeless.
Julie James, from Plasmarl in Swansea, says she's being forced to move out of her rented terraced house at the end of December, but has yet to find alternative accommodation.
The 55-year-old - who's had two strokes, five heart attacks and has 11 stents fitted - was served a notice to vacate the premises six months ago.
She told Wales Online she's put her name on several housing lists to find new accommodation but is worried time will run out before she finds a new home.
The threat of homelessness marks the end of what's already been a horrendous year for Julie after her 77-year-old mum Sandra died suddenly during the summer from a stomach aneurysm.
Julie said: "That hit me really hard, none of us saw it coming.
"It'll be my first Christmas without her, the first I don't spent at hers for dinner. I still can't really believe she's gone."
In July, Julie said she was issued with a Section 21 notice which, under the Housing Act 1988, gives landlords the right to regain vacant possession of their property, without having to give any reasons, once the fixed term tenancy has expired.
"I've lived here nearly four years and I've done lots to the place, tried to make it my own," she said.
"So the thought of having to find somewhere else has really impacted on my own health, especially in the last few months.
"My anxiety has got worse and worse and I was in hospital myself a fortnight ago following an angina attack.
"On top of that, my 82-year-old dad Clive isn't very well either. All of it is really getting to me at the moment.
"And the likelihood of me finding a new place in the little time I've got left is looking slimmer by the day.
"I swear, I can't even think straight with the stress."
WalesOnline contacted Ms James' landlord for comment and he said he had done nothing wrong in issuing the Section 21 notice.
He added that his tenant had been given more than the minimum two-month time limit required in which to move out.
