The F1 year-ender circuit, Yas Marina, is finally making its way into Gran Turismo 7. The upcoming Spec III Update will add the popular Abu Dhabi circuit to the game, extending its track roster.
Yas Marina is one of the four Middle Eastern F1 circuit races, and for more than a decade, it has been the last track on the F1 calendar. It’s where many championships are decided, like Hamilton V Verstappen 2021. It’s a very fast track filled with medium to fast corners, and is a perfect fit for Gran Turismo 7.
Gran Turismo’s official X announced the news of Yas Marina getting added to the game in the next Spec III update. For context, here is the full tweet.
What’s The Track Like?

Yas Marina is a very fast track with high tire degradation. You are full throttle almost 70% of the time. But, don’t take it as an easy track; it’s filled with fast-flowing corners that demand precision. F1 is the only main motorsport series that races there, so it would be interesting to see cars of different categories doing laps. We will have to wait till Spec III drops before we can test out.
But one thing is for sure, this track is built for some fun and fast racing. There are a lot of overtaking opportunities, and mistakes cost a lot.
In terms of layout, Sector 1 is quite simple, Sector 2 has two long straights that test your straight-line speeds, and the track ends with Sector 3’s tight and technical turns.
It’s F1’s season-ender for a reason. Even in the current season, Yas Marina will be the championship decider between Norris, Verstappen, and Piastri. The track has a history of some of the most thrilling races, and it’s going to be the same when it’s added to Gran Turismo 7.
Whether you enjoy GT3, LMP2, or any other category, you will have a blast putting laps in on Yas Marina. It’s bound to test your driving skills because it’s not easy to get lap times out of this track.
