A grandmother was was left with a horror eye injury after she was knocked to the ground and kicked in the face during a terrifying mugging.
Mum-of-four Angela Leivers, from Nottingham, has cuts and bruises and is barely able to see out of her left eye following her ordeal.
She says she now feels "paranoid" whenever she ventures outside, reports NottinghamshireLive .
The 57-year-old widow had been out to draw money from the bank before going to buy cigarettes and to eat at McDonald's before she was violently attacked.

It happened in St Ann's, at around 1.40am Monday, October 28.
"I was walking back when I felt a tug on my handbag. He started swearing at me," Angela told Nottinghamshire Live.
"He was trying to get my bag. But there was no way I was letting go of that. My instinct kicked in.
"I got knocked to the ground and he kicked me in the face. I've had to have my face glued from it. It was awful.
"I've been left in a lot of pain. I get splitting headaches and can barely see out my left eye.

"I had money in my bag, my new bus pass, house keys, all sorts."
Ms Leivers managed to fight the thief off by hitting him with her crutch she uses to help walk.
She suffers from arthritis in her knee after falling on it and breaking her knee cap and also suffers from epilipsy.
Her attacker then ran off empty-handed when a car pulled up to where she was being beaten.
"I have never been attacked before. I think Nottingham is alright until you get idiots like this.
"It has made me paranoid. I am looking over my shoulder now when I'm out. I go out at that time every week to get money out and cigarettes.

"He was over 6ft tall. I didn't get a proper look at him. It all happened so fast."
Police are now appealing for witnesses and information into the incident.
Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "The victim was taken to hospital with bruising and she was extremely shaken up by the incident.
"Officers are making enquiries in the area today and we would urge anyone who was in the area at the time, has CCTV or dash-cam footage, to get in touch as soon as possible."
