Gran goes viral saying she's 'no f*****g paying' TV licence as she'll 'get free telly in jail'

A gran has come up with her own way of not paying the TV licence charge.

In an exchange filmed by granddaughter Siobhán, her Glasgow granny Agnes Logue, who turns 82 in August, is quizzed by family members for her take on the BBC's decision reports GlasgowLive.

When asked if she was planning on joining the protest, the conversation unravelled:

"I'm not being funny, how many over 75s can go on a march to protest a TV licence. Some people cannae even walk!"

"Well I'll make myself walk. I'll make myself walk!"

"Definitely no f*****g paying that!"

"You'll go to jail!"

"I don't care. You get free meals. You get a television in the prison. You get your shower and your bath and aw that you want. I'm definitely not paying it anyway."

When a family member warns: "You'll be in there wi all they big butch birds then, you'll be in trouble!", she simply responds: "They'll be in trouble!"

And there's no doubt, her mind is 100 per cent made up on the issue - it seems she's already packing her bags for the cell as she adds:

"I am NOT paying it. I'm definitely not paying it.

"There's a lot of people like me who will not pay it.

"That's my final word on it.

"I'm going to the prison. You can come and see me in the prison."
