Feb. 09--Who is Beck? That was one of the most-asked questions of the night on Twitter after the 44-year-old's win for album of the year. Here's a quick primer: Beck (last name Hansen -- no relation to the "MMMBop" musical brothers) is an alternative singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the 1990s. He's also a Scientologist -- something that generated a lot of snark online, given the musician's surprise win. Yes, the telecast may have been a snooze, but the Internet's reaction to it was anything but.
