Jennifer Lopez's reaction to Ben Affleck memes exposed by Grammys seat filler

A seat filler at the Grammy Awards has revealed what the viral conversation between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez was about.

The A-list couple took the internet by storm when they were filmed having a seemingly tense exchange during the glitzy awards show on Monday night while host Trevor Noah filmed a segment next to them.

Fans were convinced JLo 'snapped' at her husband Ben, 50, while they 'didn't know the cameras were rolling' during Monday night's Grammy Awards.

According to a lip reader, Jennifer, 53, said to Ben: "Stop. Look more friendly. Look motivated."

However, a seat filler took to TikTok to explain what really happened and it wasn't as negative as people portrayed it to be.

"JLo showed Ben Affleck the phone and was like, 'Oh my god, honey. Look at this meme circulating about you' and he was like, 'Oh god, this again'.

"He knew during the performance that he was a meme. He knew and just chose not to change his expression."

She added: "I know she was on her phone and saw it and was like, 'honey, this is so funny. Look at this'.

According to the seat filler, they were 'super lovey dovey' and their 'hands were always intertwined'.

Fans had theories of their own and took to Twitter to share them.

"The way Ben whispered 'camera' and they both instantly became famous lol," one user explained.

Another posted: "Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are going though some shit. No, you can't go back to the limo, behave Affleck."

One person joked: "Ben Affleck looks like he'd rather be at Dunkin," referencing the actor's affinity for Dunkin Donuts.

Commenting on the now-viral footage, a lip reader has suggested what she thinks the singer said to her husband as the world wonders what was up with Bennifer.

Apparently, Jennifer told Ben: "Stop. Look more friendly. Look motivated."

The father-of-three, who looked annoyed by his wife's response, reportedly replied with: "I might," reports the Daily Mail.

In another shot taken from the night, JLo appears to be bored by her beau, turning away from him to look at her mobile phone.

The mum-of-two seems unbothered by the theories and gossip surrounding her relationship.

Taking to Instagram to share some snaps and clips from the star-studded event, JLo posted: "Always the best time with my love, my husband."

Siding with the chart-topping singer, one fan blasted: "All I see is a couple gossiping together lol! You guys are really digging for it to be more than that."

Another said: "This is why I don’t take pictures with my husband anymore.

"He never seems to be enjoying himself or he’s just not photogenic. But I’m not having a second hand embarrassment moment."
