Grammy Awards 2026: The most daring looks on the red carpet

The Grammy Awards saw some celebrities in outfits that landed on a high note, while others were just plain outlandish.

Trevor Noah returned as host for the sixth consecutive time as artists across all genres arrived at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for Sunday’s 68th annual ceremony.

From Olivia Dean to Kendrick Lamar, some of the biggest names in music walked the red carpet. While some stars dazzled, others stuck out for completely different reasons, whether they left much to be desired or struggled to make a cohesive ensemble.

From odd t-shirts to asymmetrical hems to clashing colors — and even a fully bare chest — some celebrities made questionable choices.

Here, we round up some of the most daring looks from the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Diane Warren

Warren went with a black and white themed outfit for the award show, complete with a cat T-shirt that seemed better suited for a more casual occasion (Getty Images)

Yungblud

The British singer-songwriter wore an ensemble by Chrome Hearts, which seemed to go back in time to the punk-rock era, complete with dark black eyeshadow and slick hair (Getty Images)
The Best Rock Album nominee's leopard print fur stripe across his jacket further emboldened the look (AFP via Getty Images)

Shaboozey

The ‘A Bar Song’ singer's mismatched outfit combined casual and black tie ensembles, with jeans and a flashy belt on the bottom, and a tuxedo jacket and pilot’s cap on top (Getty Images)

Tallia Storm

The Scottish singer walked the red carpet, appearing better suited for Comic-Con than the Grammys, with a gown covered in comic book panels (AFP via Getty Images)
Storm’s dress also featured long, wide sleeves with feather trim, which made the outfit look especially busy (AFP via Getty Images)

FKA Twigs

The singer-songwriter bared it all, wearing a Paolo Carzana gown that looked like it was lifted straight out of 'The Hunger Games' (Getty Images for The Recording A)
It was hard to tell where Twigs (who took home the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album) ended and the gown began with its skin-toned shades (Getty Images for The Recording A)

Rosé

The ‘APT.’ singer sported a short black strapless dress with a cream-colored fabric around her waist that appeared as if two garbage bags were hanging from her sides (Getty Images for The Recording A)
Rosé, one of the performers at this year’s awards show, paired the look with Hollywood-esque curls and minimal makeup (Getty Images)

Addison Rae

The ‘Diet Pepsi’ singer wore a white Alaïa gown with a plunging neckline that was reminiscent of ‘Casper the Friendly Ghost’ (Getty)
Rae showed off the shorter side of her white dress in a cheeky red carpet moment (Getty)

Heidi Klum

Klum wore skin-toned garment that appeared to be made of a latex material, leaving little to the imagination (Getty)
The dress may have had buckles on the side to keep it fitting like a second skin, but it didn't distract from the fact that the hems look like they'd been cut by a toddler (Getty)

Chappell Roan

The ‘Pink Pony Club’ singer wore a burgundy cape, which she then took off for a big reveal (Getty)
Roan left little to the imagination after the cape was removed. Her see-through dress was seemingly held up by fabric attached to nipple rings, leaving her bare from the chest up in the boldest look of the evening (Getty)

Doechii

The ‘Anxiety’ singer walked the red carpet wearing a disjointed dress with an orange-colored top and a duvet-looking plum-colored skirt (Getty)
While the train sparked quilt comparisons, it was also long enough to be a tripping hazard (Getty Images)

Miley Cyrus

Cyrus attended the Grammys wearing a Celine ensemble with a leather jacket and balloon-legged trousers, leaving fans questioning if she was wearing a ‘Hunger Games’ themed pin (Getty)
The ‘Flowers’ singer’s outfit was underwhelming and felt disjointed and busy (Getty Images for The Recording A)

Tate McRae

McRae attended the Grammys wearing a black Balenciaga gown with long fringe that made her appear shapeless (Getty Images)
The gown attempted to play with textures, having a long train that tried to compete against the fringe, but they both ended up getting lost (Getty Images)

Kesha

The ‘Die Young’ singer wore a white Atelier Biser gown adorned with feathers, which had a silhouette in need of more shaping (AFP via Getty Images)
The overpowering dress and lack of accessories left much to be desired (Getty Images)

Coco Jones

The singer, who will be performing at the Super Bowl next week, walked the red carpet wearing a light brown dress that appeared discombobulated (Getty Images)
The dress had asymmetrical strips of fabric hanging on either side, further emphasizing the garment's disheveled vibe (Getty Images)

Teyana Taylor

Taylor wore a brown Tom Ford gown that left little to the imagination thanks to an unfinished strap on one side (AFP via Getty Images)
Taylor’s dress followed the general sequins trend seen on this year’s red carpet (AP)
