Grammy Awards 2020: Most outrageous red carpet looks from political to near naked

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles is seeing the great and the good of the music scene make their arrivals.

Making yourself seen and taking the opportunity to make a grandstand entrance has not been lost on some of those invited.

From political statements to near naked displays, there are plenty of outrageous red carpet looks and these are among the most eye-popping.

Teen sensation Billie Eilish, 18, made one of the more stunning arrivals as she made others green with envy.

From her dyed hair to her fingernails via an interesting ensemble, green was the colour but it wasn't a 'pleasing to the eye' shade.

It was a good start for Billie as she won the first of six potential awards for her pop album 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' beating Taylor Swift's 'Lover'.

Priyanka Chopra

This was the first time Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have attended the Grammys as a couple and Priyanka wanted to make sure it was a statement moment.

Wearing a white long-sleeved deep-V Ralph and Russo dress with tassels, Priyanka didn't leave much to the imagination with the plunge front.

Lil Nas X

He said: "This means the world. If you have seen the Old Town Road video and Billy (Ray Cyrus) in that, and this is my take on that.

"Oh my God. These nominations are proof that manifesting is real. You work hard for anything and - boom - it is there for you."

He also promised a "couple of outfit changes tonight".

Billy Porter

Billy Porter is often one of the star turns of the red carpet and the Grammys were no exception.

With turquoise and silver as a theme, he donned a pair of glittery silver boots, a silver choker, and a hat that had silver tassells that acted as a curtain.

It was not any old curtain though as he showed that it was motorised and it opened to reveal his silver lips and blue eyes shadow which was outlined in silver.

Ricky Rebel

Ricky Rebel led the political statements on the red carpet.

The former No Authority lead singer had the words "impeach this" displayed on his bared backside as he made his views clear on President Trump's impeachment trial.

Joy Villa made it clear where her allegiances lie when the next Presidential election starts later this year.

She wore American flag-themed dress with "Trump 2020" written on the front.

The back of her dress was printed with the words "impeached & re-elected," as Joy hailed Donald on the red carpet.
