Grain and Grind in Glasgow shuts after staff member tests positive for COVID-19

All Glasgow Grain and Grind coffee shops have closed for deep cleaning after a non-public facing staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

Branches in Cathcart, Battlefield and Strathbungo will close.

Bosses said: "A member of G&G staff who doesn’t work directly with the public has tested positive for coronavirus.

"As of this morning and for extra precaution, all our shops will be closed for a deep clean and we are ensuring all staff self-isolate and get tested.

"We will post an update as soon as we know when we are able to re-open safely."

The coffee house has branches in Strathbungo, Cathcart and Battlefield which have been open for takeaway only.
