Graham Alexander makes two changes for Motherwell vs Rangers as Seedorf and Crawford start

Graham Alexander has made two changes as he takes charge of his first game at Fir Park as Motherwell manager against Rangers.

Jake Hastie is ineligible against his parent club and is replaced by Sherwin Seedorf. Robbie Crawford has been selected ahead of Mark O'Hara as the Steelmen face a tough task against Steven Gerrard's league leaders.

Steven Lawless has signed until the end of next season (Alan Harvey/SNS Group)

Rangers are unbeaten this season in the league and a win at Fir Park would extend their lead over fierce rivals Celtic to 23 points.

Motherwell produced an encouraging performance in Alexander's first match as 'Well manager last weekend, drawing 1-1 against St Mirren.

The 49 year-old manager was furious at referee Bobby Madden for awarded the Buddies a late penalty and the decision was extremely harsh.

Alexander spent eight years as a manager in England at Fleetwood,Scunthorpe and Salford City and he will be relishing the opportunity to test himself against the form team in Scotland.

Meanwhile, the visitors have kept faith with Alfredo Morelos up front, following his double in last week's win over Aberdeen.
