Graffiti tags sprayed on walls of Newcastle multi-storey car park

An image has been released of a man police want to speak to about criminal damage at a car park in Newcastle.

Officers are investigating after graffiti was sprayed across the multi-storey car park at Manors near the city centre earlier this month.

It was reported that a number of tags were painted in the area on Thursday May 7 but when police arrived the person responsible had already left.

Inquiries to locate the person are ongoing, and the graffiti has now been removed, but police have now released an image of a man they need to speak to.

He was in the area at the time and may be able to assist police with their investigation.

The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to report it online at the Northumbria Police website quoting reference 051110G/20.

You can also report information by calling 101 or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
