'Gradually becoming Arsenal' - Chelsea fans spot Frank Lampard's big mistake against Bournemouth

Chelsea suffered their fourth defeat in five Premier League games on Saturday afternoon as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge against Bournemouth.

Frank Lampard's side have been on a poor run of form, with just four wins in their last 11 games, with five defeats and two draws in that time.

They have struggled to break down teams in the lower half of the Premier League, with defeats against West Ham and Everton to go with their loss against Eddie Howe's team.

The Blues had the lion's share of possession in the match, but found it difficult to create true chances, with Frank Lampard bemoaning their passive domination.

"We needed urgency in our play," Lampard told reporters. "If you’re transferring the ball, transfer it quickly from side to side. If you’re playing through the lines because that’s the kind of player you are, get it through the lines.

"If you’re an attacking player get at people, do things that are positive, don’t play safe. We played generally too safe during the game."

Chelsea fans were in agreement that not enough chances were created, but bemoaned Lampard's decision to substitute Jorginho, Willian and Christian Pulisic with Mason Mount having a below-par afternoon.
