Scots wrestling star Grado took to social media to share his dad's hilarious, but sweet, first attempt at a voice note on WhatsApp.
The Scot Squad actor uploaded the clip to Twitter of his dad who tells him what he's bought in for New Year's Day dinner.
The Ayrshire born star wrote: "My faithers first whatsapp voice note" informing him of what his New Years Day dinner will be."
In the voicenote, Grado's dad can be heard speaking very slowly, as if he was speaking to an automated phone service.
He said: "I, have, got, you, a, steak, pie, for, Saturday. Ok."
The clip went down a storm on social media with Grado inundated with replies from fans.
Actress Leah MacRae replied: "This is adorable! Plus I love the message count on yer phone. That explains why yer a NIGHTMARE at answering yer texts."
Fans commented seeing the funny but wholesome side of the voice note too.
One user replied: "Treasure that mate. Would give anything to still have my dad's attempted voice notes. Lost him in September and can't find them anywhere."
Another shared their own funny story: "Brilliant!! My dad puts tonight’s Irish lottery numbers as his Facebook status thinking it’s google search. He’s 78 and no very technical, I’m just glad he’s no searching for the auld Willie Thorne cause everybody would know!!"

Grado recently made a return to Scottish television screens as Two Doors Down returned for a Christmas special earlier this month.
The wrestler and his partner Stephanie welcomed their baby girl, Perrie, last month on November 9.
