Grado begs Nicola Sturgeon to rethink takeaway rules because they are 'a big part of his life'

Scots wrestler Grado has urged Nicola Sturgeon to 'rethink' her decision on takeaways as he says they are 'a big part of his life'.

Yesterday, the First Minister announced takeaway services will have to be offered through a hatch to stop people coming indoors.

She also revealed drinking alcohol outdoors will be banned in all level 4 areas of Scotland, putting an end to any takeaway pints.

In a new video for GoRadio, the funny man 'appealed' to Sturgeon to reconsider her decision as it would have a big impact on him.

In the video, he says: "Nicola Sturgeon - It's yerself!

"This is Grado here from GoRadio and I am appealing to you to think twice or at least think carefully about stopping takeaways because takeaways are a big, big, BIG part of my life.

"I love standing there, looking at the menu deciding: 'Will I get chips, cheese and donner meat? Will I get chips, cheese and chicken donner meat?"

"'Will I get chips, cheese with mixed donner meat and garlic sauce? Or will I get chilli sauce? Will I get a side of garlic sauce? Will I get it with salad? Will I get it without salad...'"

He continues: "Chicken pakora, vegetable pakora, haggis pakora... Have you tried fish pakora, Nicola Sturgeon? I know it sounds boufin' but actually if you get a good bit of fresh pakora it's actually quite nice to be honest with ye."

So Nicola, I know you've got a lot of stuff on your plate, (see what I did there) but please do consider keeping the takeaways for the people like me and the people of the West of Scotland. "

And fans were loving the video.

One said: "Fish pakora is banging Sturgeon get in about it."

Another wrote: "If this wasn't so sad,it would be funny. Unfortunately it's a true representation of how many Glaswegians live."

One fan penned: "I love him."
