Seacon Bangkae has turned its Centre Court on the ground floor into a world-renowned exotic holiday destination during the "Street Of Penang" fair until Sunday.

This is an opportunity for travel enthusiasts to explore the charming island city of Malaysia, dubbed the Pearl of the Orient, which is reputed for its different cultures, races, religions and old architecture.
Brought to the fair are replicas of top five popular tourist destinations of Penang including George Town World Heritage Inc, the spectacular ancient building decorated with unique Sino-Portuguese architecture located in the city's capital of George Town; Blue Mansion, aka Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, that won the Most Excellent Heritage Conservation Award (Asia-Pacific) from Unesco in 2000; and Camera Museum, which exhibits more than 40 models of old, rare and expensive cameras from the past to the present.
Reproductions of the attractive street art paintings that have brought new life to the walls of some of the atmospheric Chinese shophouses on George Town's streets are also displayed while hipsters will experience a similar ambience, live music and street performance of the Bricklin Cafe and Bar, one of Penang's cool coffee shops famously decorated with a perfect combination of old town and raw art.
Visitors are also encouraged to sample many traditional dishes that make Penang a top culinary destination. The dishes include assam laksa (Chinese rice-flour noodle), char koey teow (stir-fried ricecake strips), nasi lemak (rice with chilli sauce), sambal fish balls, sambal air-fried marinated chicken wings, rojak (mixed fruits eaten with dipping sauce) and cendol (iced sweet dessert).
