Grab a mask: NFL will require fans to wear them at all games this season

If you’re going to an NFL game this year at any stadium, you will be required to wear a face mask, according to the league’s public relations guru Brian McCarthy.

Based on McCarthy’s mentions (RIP), there are still a lot of people who think mask requirements are some kind of violation of their constitutional rights. Remember, aside from the Packers NFL teams are privately-owned, and they have the right to deny service to anybody.

Resistance to wearing a mask has become a political issue in some areas, but even the President is now urging Americans to wear them when social distancing is not feasible.

This won’t be the only change around stadiums this coming season. Some teams will not allow any fans in the stands this year, while others will only operate at limited capacity. According to the Athletic, the Panthers are considering around 25% capacity at Bank of America Stadium.
