The scammers are reported to even be targeting people who are not registered to the surgery.
The surgery told people to never give personal details out to anyone unless they are "100% certain" they are speaking to a member of staff.
It added if anyone is unsure to put the phone down immediately.
The public statement from the surgery read: "Bogus call alert.
"Please be aware we are receiving reports from people who are not registered with our practice being contacted by someone claiming to be from Millbrook Medical Centre on a withheld number to verify personal details.
"These calls are NOT from any staff member at our practice.
"Our outbound calls should always show as 0151 546 2460 on your telephone or mobile and not withheld.
"Please do not give out any personal details over the telephone unless you are 100% certain you are speaking with a member of staff from the surgery.
"If you are unsure, end the call immediately and ring reception."
