The government has revised its comprehensive response measures for the acceptance and integration of foreign personnel into Japan. The measures include establishing a system to officially recognize Japanese language teachers as well as strengthening the functions of intermediaries between companies and foreign workers seeking employment in Japan.
In anticipation of an increase in the number of foreign workers studying Japanese, the ministry plans to nominate skilled teachers to ensure quality instruction is met.
Furthermore, the ministry will allow foreign technical interns to find jobs across different industries and provide assistance in new work placement to those who have lost employment due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The ministry will provide agricultural and nursing care organizations with information on job seekers compiled by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.
