LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh government on Monday released Rs 7.1 crore for upgradation of 13 health care facilities in four districts of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said on Monday that the funds have been released to improve the infrastructure and facilities at these centers, so that people can get quality healthcare at their doorstep.
In Pratapgarh, Rs 66 lakh has been released for the upgradation of CHC Prithviganj . In Pilibhit, Rs 66 lakh has been released for CHC Devaria Kala.
In Ballia, Rs 1.31 crore has been released for CHC Jayprakash Nagar. In Shamli, Rs 4.53 crore has been released for four CHCs and five PHCs.
The funds will be used to improve the facilities at these centers, including the construction of new buildings, procurement of new equipment, and upgradation of existing infrastructure.
Pathak said that the government is committed to providing quality healthcare to all citizens of the state. The upgradation of CHCs and PHCs is a step in that direction.
