A fast-growing kebab chain is set to open a restaurant in Nottingham city centre - bringing more than 30 years' experience to the city.
German Doner Kebab originated in Berlin and now has more than 45 branches worldwide.
As well as the original German doner kebab, the menu will feature a doner quesadilla, durum wrap, lahmacun wrap (a kind of thin crispy pizza) and burger - the original and a Doritos Doner Krunch Burger.
For those trying to keep healthy, the Kcal kebab comes in at under 600 calories.
The new outlet in Upper Parliament Street - a former Spar shop - will specialise in "high quality" doner kebabs and promises "a nutritionally sound gourmet food experience that contains virtually no preservatives or additives and can be consumed day or night."
It will serve 100 percent lean succulent meat in handmade breads, salad, with a choice of three signature sauces - and it's "secret sauces" that sets the kebab apart from competitors, they say.
"We use lean succulent beef and our meats are imported directly from Germany to maintain quality and consistency. We only use fresh, locally produced vegetables that are delivered and prepared daily along with our special doner kebab bread. These make the doner kebab a truly unique taste experience of our customers.
"Our tried and tested methods are totally different from the way other operators make their kebabs."
Customers can order a box meal with either fries, chips and cheese or fries and salad. The healthier alternative is a 'Doner Gym Box' stacked with 44g of protein.
As well as four varieties of fries, including curry and flaming, there's doner spring rolls, doner nachos and chilli cheese bites.
The franchise is in the final stage of revamping the property. No opening date has been announced.
