Raul Jimenez was the Wolverhampton Wanderers match-winner against Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday night.
But Leeds fans reckon the Mexican striker was a lucky boy - on a couple of counts.
He had fortune on his side when his 70th-minute shot found the net via a kind deflection off Kalvin Phillips as Wolves claimed a 1-0 win.
And he arguably dodged a bullet late on following a clash with Leeds defender Robin Koch.
Jimenez appeared to kick out at Koch after being brought down by his opponent.
However, no action was taken by referee David Coote or VAR.
This left many Leeds supporters feeling somewhat hard done by. Here's what some of them had to say on Twitter...
@zz9zsa: Any chance Raul Jimenez gets a retrospective ban for violent conduct, since it went unpunished by both ref and VAR?
@elyouefsey: Jimenez got away with one, didn't he?
@ElliottDavill: Take it VAR is doing nothing about the jimenez kick out then?
@scottlandwalker: If Koch sold that Jimenez kick he would of been gone. We are too polite sometimes. Could of easily got him sent off.
@BenJonesLUFC: I see Sky haven’t commented on the Jimenez kick out.
@SJJLeeds: Haven’t seen it back yet, but thought Jimenez should’ve seen red. Wouldn’t have affected the outcome I know. Just feels like he got away with one there.
@JackGear_Lufc: Very close game, not alot of chances either way, but may sound bitter. Not that it would have changed the game but how has Jimenez not been sent off for the blatant kick out?
@LUFCjamie1919: Thought we we’re better first half, but then wolves were better second half. The difference was they created more clear cut chances even tho it was a lucky deflection to win it. Jimenez did well to avoid a red too, surely VAR should of picked that up?
@DaveKWilliams: Jimenez got lucky with that kick out at Koch. VAR now allowing players to attempt to kick opposition in the b******* as long as they don’t hit the target.
@Biglucoops: People saying it wouldn’t have made a difference if Jimenez was sent off! There was 5 mins left and then 6 mins added! Not only that, he kicked out and should have been sent off!
@S_H_I_G_G_L_E_S: I think a draw would have been fair tbh, Pablo improved us. We weren’t clinical enough. Really disappointed in Wolves. They’re in no danger but sadly flat to watch. Jimenez a lucky boy to stay on. They have to improve.
@elliott_robin26: soft pen? yes.
should it be given? yes.
kick out by jimenez? yes.
should it be a red? yes
what’s the point in having VAR if it’s not going to be used properly?
