Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) says its new Andy Warhol exhibiton is set to be a blockbuster.
The exhibition opens to the public today and includes more than 300 works from one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
It includes Warhol's iconic Campbell Soup can pictures and a large number of celebrity portraits - including Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.
Gallery chairman and former Queensland premier Wayne Goss says it is a great coup for Queensland and is the culmination of five years of planning.
"There's been a lot of anticipation surrounding the exhibition and once you've had the opportunity to see the show I'm sure you'll agree it's been worth the wait," he said.
