Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez has shared a sweet tribute to girlfriend Gemma Atkinson, who is expecting the couple’s first child.
The professional dancer, 28, posted a stunning black and white shot of the former soap star on his Instagram, in which the 34-year-old can be seen cradling her baby bump.
“Just when I thought I couldn’t love you more @glouiseatkinson,” he captioned the photo.
The pair’s fans praised Marquez for the “adorable” gesture, even describing them as “couple goals.”
“Beautiful picture. So happy for you both,” one follower wrote.
“You two are going to be great parents when your little one arrives,” another suggested.
“Beautiful photo and it’s obvious you adore her so much,” a third added.
Atkinson previously shared a colourised version of the snap on her own account, joking in the caption that she was doing an “ab check” and adding that she “can’t wait” to meet “mini Marquez.”
The couple met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, and announced their pregnancy news last month with a little help from their dogs, Norman and Ollie.
The Hits Radio presenter shared a picture of the pets posing with signs which read: “Guess what… mum’s pregnant! We’re going to be big brothers!”
She went on to reveal that she and Marquez were “beyond excited and happy” and felt “incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year.”
Since then, Atkinson has shared candid updates with her followers, and recently showed fans how she has adapted her exercise regime since becoming pregnant.
Sharing a video clip of herself working out, she stressed that her “number 1 rule” was not to “compare [herself] to anyone else” while expecting, and was praised by fans for being a “positive healthy role model for any new mums.”
