Gorka Marquez had his fans cooing as he posted a sweet video of himself and his fiancée Gemma Atkinson. The dancer is currently busy training for another week on Strictly Come Dancing but being partnered with Helen Skelton means he can still spend time at home in Greater Manchester as she is also based up north.
And on Wednesday morning, it was another early start for Gorka and Gemma as they headed to train in their home gym. But it appears Gemma, who met Gorka when starring in the BBC One dance show in 2017, had a case of the Strictly bug and put in a request to her husband-to-be.
"When she asks me to teach her the Vienesse Waltz at 6am," Gorka, 34, captioned a video to his thousands of followers, showing him and the Hits Radio host waltzing around their gym. But Gemma, 37, was in a bit of a panic as she worried about her towel, which was wrapped around her body, falling off.
"Helen, I don't know how you do this," she commented as her man helped her sort out her towel. "I'm frustrated with him already." As her partner gave instructions, Gemma said: "I can't," as she smiled and giggled away around the room in her man's arms.
"Why?? @glouiseatkinson," added in his caption over his wife-to-be's request. "Ps: don’t judge our outfits," he then added. Countryfile host Helen, 39, was quick to respond. She said: "Love this," without referencing Gemma's cheeky comment about Gorka. Alison Hammond also replied, simply writing: "Adorable."
Fellow Strictly pro Karen Hauer, who Gorka will be touring with again next year in their own show, added a string of crying laughing emojis and wrote: "yes!" And Gemma's Hits Radio co-star and Gorka's fellow Striclty competitor also posted a bunch of laughing emojis before adding: "loving the outfit Gorka! Hahaaa," referring to his skin-tight, wrestling-inspired attire which showed off his toned abs.
But fans were absolutely loving the video. @jeni.c._c_ said: "Never a wrong time to dance with your love." @nixiepixie85 commented: "Oh I just love you two." @robstate31 requested: "Can you do one of these for us everyday please?" @royl1977xx_laura echoed: "More content like this please!"
@nicoleandjessicarichfoundation posted: "Ahhhh love this so much!!!" @k_pink1 wrote: "I think you guys are amazing!!! " @raquel_jade_x replied: "Couple goals!!! LOVE you two." @sandraoneill2 shared: "Outfits are the best, Love Gemma & Gorka… it’s a 10 !!!!!" @abradburyk added: "#stricktlycomegym! What a super pair you are. Brought a smile to me."
On Saturday night, Gorka impressed as John Travolta with Countryfile host Helen as his Sandy as they performed a spellbinding Viennese Waltz to Hopelessly Devoted To You by the late Olivia Newton-John from the iconic film Grease. Gorka's proud partner Gemma shared an adorable video of daughter Mia watching her 'Papa' perform in the third live show.
Then on Sunday, the dad-of-one shared a sweet video of the moment three-year-old daughter Mia discovered he and Helen had safely made it through to week four of the 20th series.
